@EvilKing... absolutely, a beautiful waterfall at the entrance to a dark underground river with a network of caves and pools, where the frogs live in their underground kingdom, to avoid the 'hairy ones'... the rats and mice. Definitely a swamp area, or bog. Creatures in the water that you can't see....

As some of you know, Unity is the game engine on which Seith is building GoaT.

Along with some other sensational and fun-looking (mostly indie) games... GoaT is featured on the 2014 Unity highlight reel for its 'Unite 2014' conferences.

Wait for it, the video ends on a high note :D

I just thought that it would be cool to have an area or level or location where Tilo has to wade through dark water at waist level. Maybe a series of underground caves? Re: What are you currently eating?

mhhh... Any way to resize pictures in my post? @Kwisatz and EvilKing... sorry chaps, as far as I know there isn't an elegant way to do it with the current PhpBB forum setup. Like EvilKing suggests, if the image is too big, download it, resize it manually (maybe with Photoshop), upload it to an imag...

Re: The finest game soundtracks... ever!

@EvilKing...For FF8, the variety and dynamism of it is remarkable. Some of it is utterly amazing! I couldn't quite wrap my ears around Persona 3 & 4. I'm wild for the Persona aesthetic, but it may be that I'm more of a bass addict when it comes to sounds. @Seith... that was also really interesti...

Re: What are you currently eating?

@EvilKing... your taco salad sounds delicious... now you've given me an appetite for it. I must check my local supermarket to see what lettuce and spinach is available in this part of the world. Even I can cook salad, and its so crunchy, healthy and delicious :P @Mousewings...I've never eaten Cajun ...

@EvilKing... It's not bravery, I'm just dumb as a rock :P http://images.wikia.com/uncyclopedia/images/archive/d/d7/20070120180156!Brave_mouse.jpg Brownies and yankee pot roast do seem a LOT more delicious than alligator and scorpions. I admire you and Solladrache for buying the ingredients and cooki...

Re: Interesting and cinematic island locations

@EvilKing... that's just wild, it's hard to believe it is real... but apparently it is. Amazing  Some more locations... -weird and misty marsh -an abandoned burrow -a stone altar -a tiny wooded island offshore, with a dock and a structure nested among the dense trees -tall, waving reeds at ...

Re: What are you currently eating?

Well, I'm really lucky at the moment visiting Thailand. Even the street food here, bought from a wheeled cart, can be delicious and incredibly good value... like a meal for 1 or 2 us$. http://blog.asiahotels.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/scorpion.jpg I haven't tried anything really exotic here in T...

Re: Possible Console Version?

LOL well even with LED there is no "infinite bulb life". It's just a lot longer running. Darn you, ok... not infinite.. only 50,000 hours :ugeek: the markup there sounds terrible. I mean I figured everything was super pricey in the US due to import tariffs and stuff. I guess it's just exp...

Re: Possible Console Version?

@EvilKing... a 720p LED project is pretty much what I've been looking for... infinite bulb life and portable... yay! I must check on Amazon and eBay again. @Kwisatz... those monitors sound terrific at the right price (so, if necessary, I can leave them behind if I move) and if I can get 'em in Thail...

Re: Possible Console Version?

Huge GOAT does look compelling, I'm kind of drooling at the prospect. These past three months, I've been actively looking to buy a projector for work and gaming. I had one before, and it was awesome having a half-wall of PC visuals :D Eventually the projector bulb died though, and I've been hunched ...

@EvilKing... yes, you are right of course. Especially with all the effort and uncertainty that goes into sourcing, storing and distributing physical products, like boxed sets, tshirts and plushies. However, I do think that he is being a just a bit too cautious about opening the store for digital pro...

If (/when?) GoaT is successful it sounds like the possibilities for sequels etc. will be endless :D @Pulsar... I believe from what Seith has said in interviews, and from chatting with him, that he has conceived an entire alternate world, full of terrific characters, history, and everything else. As...

wow Thailand sounds a lot like Arizona. :) they also have 3 seasons, rainy, hot and "Oh my god don't leave the house it's hot out :-) Is there any issues with acid rain or the fact there is such an air quality problem in China I don't think most of Asia gets as hot as Arizona, it is bearable t...

Re: How Can I pre-order/support This game?

I think you both raise a perfectly valid point. It is difficult for people to get on board with GOAT now that the game is between the IGG campaign and launch. Seith and I talked about this and, to this end, I built the shop here on this site... for 'slacker backers'... the store is fully functional,...

Hey David, is it even vaguely winter where you are? :) When I see what you and Mousewings are going through... it really hits home how lucky we are with the weather here in Asia. Since living in China, Hong Kong and now... Thailand, it has been about 7 years since I've properly experienced winter. ...

A pox on you EvilKing

But seriously, it is a good idea... an updated, detailed description doesn't exist at the moment. I might even do a press page, with a downloadable image pack.

I'll suggest it to Seith :D
